ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL is the operator of the personal data you transmit to us and is responsible for your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection law (collectively, " ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL ", "us", "new" or "our" in this Privacy Policy). This document called privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") is designed to help you understand the information we collect when you visit the site 'www.electro-component.com' (the "Website"), whether you are or not in our database and describe how we use this information. This privacy policy also describes how we process the information you provide or collect with us about our customers, suppliers, or partners. This policy is complementary to any other information provided in other circumstances. According to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL has the obligation to administer safely and only for the specified purposes, the personal data information provided by you. By reading this Privacy Policy, you have declared that you have been informed that you are guaranteed the rights provided by law, namely the right to information, the right of access to data, the right to intervene, the right to object, the right not to be subject to an individual decision (EU) 679/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), the right to address to justice in case of violation of its rights. At the same time, you have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data and to request the total or partial deletion of your personal data.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

We will process your personal data in accordance with the “GDPR Regulation” (EU) 679/2016 and the Romanian legislation. We reserve the right to perform additional processing under the law in a criminal investigation or other investigation or proceedings.

The data we collect from you is stored in the ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL data center in Romania.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

We do not transmit, sell or divulge your data to third parties for marketing purposes outside of ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL. Data sent to third parties is only used to provide you with our services. You will find the categories of third parties in each specific process below. Part of the collected data will be transferred to a third party for: • Sending your ordered products to our customers - in this case, we will transfer your contact details to courier companies such as: DPD, DHL, TNT or other forwarding companies delivering orders on our behalf. • Sending advertisements - to efficiently deliver them, we use the e-mail marketing services Mailchimp - The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Mailchimp is an EU-US Privacy Shield and complies with the rules of EU Regulation 679/2016. These third parties have assumed the contractual obligation to provide appropriate safeguards for your personal data, which means that they will be protected in accordance with the legal requirements of the European Union. Also, ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL may provide your personal data to other companies with which it is affiliated, but only on the basis of a confidentiality commitment from them, guaranteeing that such data is kept secure and that the provision of such personal information is made according to the legislation in force, as follows: courier, book-keeping or other services providers, other companies with whom we can develop joint programs for the market of our products and services, insurers. Your personal information may also be provided to the Prosecutor's Office, the Police, the Courts and other competent authorities of the State, on the basis and within the limits of the legal provisions and as a result of expressly formulated requests.

THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING DATA

The legal basis for processing your data may be: your consent, our legitimate interest, or the existence of legal grounds in which data retrieval is required by law.  

THE PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION

Depending on the purpose for which data is used, we collect data for: • Securing our tools: keeping our website safe and ensuring that it works properly and that it is continually improving; • Running the trade relationship and/or executing the contract with the legal entity in whose name you act; • Legal reasons in which data processing is required by law. For each specific processing of personal data we collect from you, we will inform you whether the provision of personal data is required by regulations or whether it is necessary to conduct the commercial relationship between ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL and the company you represent, respectively conclude a contract; if it is mandatory to provide us your personal data and what are the possible consequences if you refuse. Thus, 'www.electro-component.com' can notify its partners/customers about current offers through the newsletter and can send greetings or any other special messages.

YOUR RIGHTS AND THEIR EXERCISE

The right of access means you have the right to obtain a confirmation from ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL that we process your data or not, and if so, give you access to this data as well as information on how it is processed. The right to rectification means that you have the right to request the rectification of your personal data if it is incorrect, including the right to fill in incomplete personal data. Our 'www.electro-component.com' site does not promote SPAM. Any partner/client who has explicitly provided their e-mail address on the website may choose to delete it from our database. The information you provide us will be used for the purpose for which you have provided it, to administer, support and evaluate our services and to prevent breach of our security, law and our contractual terms.

When the company you represent is introduced to the customer base, we ask for the following personal data categories: first and last name, e-mail address, phone number, job title. We will process the following categories of personal data if you are doing on behalf of the company you represent a purchase: order history; delivery information (postal address and contact phone number). Also, the following personal data categories related to your cookies: clicks history; browsing and browsing history. If you have not opted out of direct marketing, we will use your personal information to send to the company you represent, marketing offers, information surveys, e-mails, text messages, phone calls and postal items. Processing of personal data for the commercial relationship between ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL and the company you represent is based on your consent, and the processing of our personal data to provide you with relevant information about the products and services we sell is based on our legitimate interest. You have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data on the basis of ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL’s legitimate interest by contacting oradea@electro-component.eu. Your data will then be deleted and we will not be able to provide you with our services. We do not use the information you provide to make decisions that may affect you. Direct marketing: based on your consent, we process the following personal data categories: contact information such as name, e-mail, address, phone number, function. We use personal data to send you marketing offers, e-mail surveys and invitations, phone calls, and mailing. In order to optimize the commercial relationship between the company you represent and ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL, we will provide you with information about the products and services offered, invitations to competitions, raffle or promotions and other advantages offered to our customers. Data sent to third parties is used only to provide you with the above mentioned services, and those sent to media agencies and technical vendors are aimed at distributing direct physical and digital marketing. We do not transmit, sell or give your data to third parties for marketing purposed.  The processing of your personal data is based on your consent when you agree to direct marketing. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. When you do so, ELECTRO COMPONENT SRL will no longer send you further direct marketing offers or information based on your consent. You can unsubscribe from direct marketing by following the instructions in each marketing message. Retention time of your personal data: we will store your information as long as required by law. If there is no legal requirement, we will only store them for as long as necessary. However, your personal data will automatically be deleted, if there was no interaction with you for 3 years.
